He further added that he expected a forward showing in todays event. Stewards reviewed the films of the previous starts and accepted the explanation tended.

Rdr stated mount responded fairly to his riding from 500m however felt to peak on its run at 200m & weakened in its run to the line. Rdr stated mount was breathing heavily on return to scale & may have lacked the fitness to accomodate the 500m step up in journey since its last start. Tnr added she feels the gelding races best when able to settle in a midfield posn with cover. P/R vet exam no ab's.

App stated when mount improved outside leader near 1000m its rdr commenced working forward also. App stated he desisted from working forward & held mount on bridle outside leader before again working forward from 700m. Tnr stated geld races best when leading uncontested.
