Of concern to stewards was whether there was an opportunity to attempt to improve into the run between ISIS MAGIC, the eventual winner, and BAKER BOY, which appeared to be presenting itself at that point. Apprentice Sweeney advised that at a point near the 400m she attempted to shift to the outside of the heels of BAKER BOY in an endeavour to secure clear running, however was disappointed for a run at that stage and lost some ground.
