Cahill reported that his mount was under pressure whilst hanging out rounding the home turn and was very disappointing in the run to the line. He said carrying top weight in today’s event may have had a detrimental effect on the overall performance. He added that in his opinion it races best on very firm surfaces. Vetted, slow recovery.
