The filly was found to have blood present in its nearside nostril following the race. After viewing the Stewards patrol films and interviewing rider K. O'Hara, it was apparent that prior to the start being effected the filly lunged forward and made contact with the front gates. As Stewards were satisfied that this incident was the cause of the appearance of the blood, no action was taken.
