Ms Aitkenhead stated that she agreed that the horse’s most recent form has been disappointing, adding that as a result the horse was sent for a short spell and was freshened up. She felt that both the shorter distance and drop in class of tonight’s event had a positive effect on horse’s performance. Ms Aitkenhead added that in light of tonight’s performance she would look to keep the horse fresh between runs. Stewards noted the explanation.
