When asked to comment regarding the geldings performance Jockey Dale Smith stated that he was obliged to pressured the horse throughout the event and at no point did it travel comfortably. A post-race veterinary examination revealed soreness in the off fore fetlock. Stable representative M Sharpe was advised that a veterinary certificate would be required prior to the horse racing again.

He added that at its first start, the filly sat up on the speed and performed quite well. He further advised that today he removed the blinkers and added winkers to the filly’s gear, and when able to be ridden more forward and down in grade, he had expected a forward showing.
