Had difficulty securing clear running near the 200 metres.

When questioned regarding the tactics adopted on entering the home straight and if there was a prior opportunity to improve into a run between KING KAI and THE SINNER passing the 400m. Jockey J Stanley stated that he was mindful of THE TAX ACCOUNTANT carrying topweight and as such did not want to force a run and lose momentum at a critical point of the straight as THE SINNER was inclined to shift ground at that stage. He added passing the 350m, he was able to improve into a run between KING KAI and THE SINNER and finished off in a positive manner. Stewards noted his explanation.
