Love My Super Began awkwardly and made heavy contact with another runner. Passing the 500m improved onto the heels of weakening HEDLEY'S LADY as a result shifted out abruptly forcing SWAN ISLAND wider on the track. Sunshine Coast 11/10/2020

Strike Sika When the pace steadied near the 1600M its rider elected to stride forward and assume the lead near the 1200m. In light of today’s performance trainer T Thomas advised that blood tests would be taken from the gelding and forwarded to stewards. Sunshine Coast 23/10/2020

Goodonya Sonja When asked to comment on the performance, trainer L Gough stated at its most recent start GOODONYA SONJA may have jarred up on the firmer racing surface adding that today the horse was back in a mares class event and was able to settle closer in the run which suited its racing pattern. Stewards noted the explanation of L Gough. A post-race blood and urine sample was taken from GOODONYA SONJA. Doomben 17/10/2020

Wild Moon Upon returning to scale Jockey J Stanley reported WILD MOON may have got its tongue over the bit during the event and as such failed to run on as he had expected in the home straight when placed under pressure. Jockey Stanley further added that he advised Trainer L Hatch to apply a tongue tie to the horse’s gear for its next start. Trainer L Hatch advised that the gelding had recovered well after the event however on the advice of jockey Stanley will now add a tongue tie to the horse’s gear Toowoomba 24/10/2020

Niab When asked to comment on the apparent improved performance co-trainer Daniel Guy stated with the blinkers off NIAB relaxed better over the longer distance of todays race and moving forward it would be the stables intention to continue to step the gelding up in distance. Ipswich 21/10/2020

Tokoriki Lad Attempted to savage ZIEMBA for some distance over the concluding stages. Stable representatives were advised that the gelding would be required to compete satisfactorily in a barrier trial before being permitted to race again. Doomben 10/10/2020

Star Of Michelin Stood flat-footed at the start and lost ground before jumping awkwardly resulting in rider N Fazackerley losing partial use of his near-side stirrup iron. Trainer S Kendrick was advised a warning would be placed on the gelding’s barrier manners. A post-race Veterinary examination of STAR OF MICHELIN revealed no abnormalities. Sunshine Coast 25/10/2020

Bring It Home Pop Began awkwardly Sunshine Coast 18/10/2020
Plenty Restrained at the start to obtain a trailing position. Improved onto heels near the 100m, obliged to alter course and unable to be tested for the remainder. Jockey J Bayliss reported he elected to shift back to the inside near the 100m as BOBLEE had commenced to shift out under pressure as he felt this was the best option to secure clear running. He added however that in hindsight he would have been better served easing wider. Sunshine Coast 18/10/2020
Le Palmier Stewards questioned G Cartwright regarding her riding of LE PALMIER which lead by a considerable distance in the middle stages. App G Cartwright explained that she was conscious not to overly restrain LE PALMIER as the gelding has had some breathing issues during its career and she thought it would be detrimental to the gelding’s competitive chances. Miss Cartwright conceded after viewing the stewards footage that she erred to allow the horse to stride along too quickly which had a bearing on the gelding weakening. Doomben 10/10/2020

Gee Tee Tee Apprentice S. Thornton was afforded the opportunity to comment on the performance. She stated that the horse was somewhat disappointing, particularly with its finishing effort, and in her view may have come to the end of its preparation and would benefit from a short spell. Trainer S. O’Dea agreed with the comments of apprentice Thornton and indicated that he would give consideration to sending the horse for a spell. Sunshine Coast 15/05/2020
