Mr Currie advised that in the lead up to the colts first start in a race it had a somewhat rushed preparation and in retrospect having raced greenly in that event it may not have been suited by having its first run in a race in that event. Mr Currie went on the say that despite this, with the advantage of race experience and a fitness benefit derived from its first start he had expected the colt to show an improved effort in tonight’s event.
