Race 3
Firebox Momentarily steadied near the 250m. When App. K. Wilson-Taylor questioned regarding interference and being held up in final stages, App. K Wilson-Taylor stated that his mount was under pressure at the time when BLUE ODYSSEY shifted out, but soon afterwards, the gelding commenced to quicken and as a result was held up on heels over the final 150m. Sir Barnabus Ridden forward from the 800m to take the lead by the 600m mark. When questioned, jockey B. Stewart reported that when the pace of the race slowed in the middle stages, he elected to take the initiative and improve around the field. Stewards noted his explanation. Doomben 11/09/2021
Prioritise Began awkwardly and lost ground. Laid in passing the 600 metres and continued to do so before becoming awkwardly placed at the heels of WORD FOR WORD near the 450 metres. Continued to lay in under pressure in the home straight. Eagle Farm 21/08/2021

Sir Rocket Rider T Harrison reported that the gelding travelled well until placed under pressure upon straightening when it failed to respond and began to weaken. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any significant findings. Stable representative advised that the gelding returned to the enclosure with making an abnormal respiratory noise. Clairvue Star L Dittman, rider of CLAIRVUE SPIRIT, was issued a charge of careless riding under AR131(a) in that near the 400 metres, when looking to secure clear running to the outside, contacted the hindquarters of LET’S CHEER AGAIN which was turned in resulting in CLAIRVUE SPIRIT clipping heels almost dislodging L Dittman. MAGIC TRICK, which was following was severely hampered. After hearing further submissions from L Dittman, and taking into account the horse had bled from both nostrils, the charge was withdrawn. Trainers representative for Mr C Waller was advised that CLAIRVUE STAR would be stood down Ipswich 21/04/2021

Social As the mare had not started in a race for over 12 months, underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed suitable to race. Bumped on jumping. Jockey R Maloney reported the mare may not have appreciated today’s track conditions. A post-race veterinary examination identified a minor laceration to the off fore leg. Ipswich 15/09/2021
Don'tdie Wondering Raced in restricted room between the 700 metres and the 500 metres to the inside of BETTER RUSH. M Potgieter, rider of BETTER RUSH, was reprimanded for carelessness under AR131(a). Sunshine Coast 12/09/2021

Loca Bumped on jumping. The gelding was then shifted behind runners in the early stages from its wide barrier. A post-race vet exam revealed no abs. Wyong 29/08/2021
Ostermeier Tightened on jumping. Near the 900m commenced to over-race whilst being restrained. Over the concluding stages shifted in abruptly under pressure and had to be steadied. Toowoomba 11/09/2021
