Apprentice J Lloyd was found guilty of careless riding under the provisions AR131(a) in that he permitted STYLE SEEKER to shift out near the 500m when insufficiently clear of PRUNDA which had to be restrained when tightened for room between STYLE SEEKER and STREET DANCER. NORTH ROCKS which was following struck the heels of PRUNDA and blundered. Apprentice Lloyd had his licence to ride in races was suspended for a period of 13 days to commence at midnight 19 March and to expire on 1 April 2022. Jockey T Marshall when asked to comment regarding the performance of RAYJEN stated that the filly did not travel comfortably at any stage and struggled to hold a competitive position and proved very disappointing in the straight. The filly was sent for a post-race veterinary examination which revealed it was lame in the off hind. Trainer R Heathcote was advised that a veterinary clearance would be required prior to the filly racing again. A swab sample was also taken.
