Following the horse being a late scratching on veterinary advice at Thangool on 11th September when injured being transported to the track, the gelding underwent a pre-race veterinary examination on arrival on-course and again behind the barriers following its preliminary and was cleared to start. Held up for a short distance near the 300 metres and steadied from heels.
