When questioned regarding tactics adopted, jockey E Smith stated that her instructions were to be positive and race close to the lead, as these had been the instructions when she had previously ridden the mare. She added on the previous occasion that she had ridden ART OF DANCE, the mare had suffered interference at the start, which had hindered its ability to race in a more positive position. Trainer G Bell concurred with the statements of E Smith and added that after the performance today, it would continue this racing pattern.
