Niksicko Jockey J. Orman reported that his mount raced greenly throughout. Trainer A. Coome was fined $200 under AR 165 (3), for permitting NIKSICKO to leave the course within the 30 minute following this event. All Native Apprentice E Smith reported her mount didn’t handle the dirt surface and added that the lengthy delay may have been a factor in her mount’s poor performance. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer G Bell reported that although the mare had pulled up well from its disappointing perforamce, she had samples of bloods sent away for analysis which showed the mare to have low iron and protein levels. Strike Point Jumped inwards contacting a runner, travelled wide for much of the race and laid in down the home straight. Isisford 07/11/2020
Bullet Lad Bumped by another runner as the start was effected. Home Hill 31/10/2020

Fastnet Flyer Jockey J Stanley stated that his mount failed to handle the firm track conditions today and when asked for a finishing effort in the home straight, his mount felt awkward in its action and as such elected to not place his mount under pressure over the concluding stages. A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the near fore leg. Trainer G Bell was advised a veterinary certificate of fitness would be required prior to FASTNET FLYER starting again. Yeppoon 01/10/2020

Frugal When questioned regarding the poor performance, jockey M McGillivray stated that his mount didn’t handle the conditions today and felt awkward in its action and elected not to pressure his mount over the concluding stages. A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have lost its near fore plate in running and had abrasions on the hoof.
