Dreaming Jeanie Slow to begin. Raced three wide in the early stages before progressing forward to lead the event from the 1300m. Rider J Byrne reported it was not his intention to lead however after being slow to begin and caught wide, combined with the slow early pace of the race, he therefore elected to progress forward. Crymenotears Rider B Thompson reported it was not his intention to race in a forward position however after being caught wide in the early stages he allowed the horse to progress to the lead near the 700m, adding CRYMENOTEARS was disappointing when placed under pressure at the entrance to the home straight. Bluffed Raced wide for the majority of the event. Taken wider rounding the home turn. Checked approaching the 200 metres between JUKEBOX JURY which laid in momentarily and CUSTER’S REIN which shifted out and away from DOMINIQUE. Aquis Park Gold Coast 26/08/2022
Boom Court Laid in slightly and bumped with BULSARA on several occasions rounding the home turn and became unbalanced. App Wilson-Taylor reported in his opinion the colt did not appreciate today’s track conditions. Ipswich 02/05/2022

Rose Bouquet Crowded on jumping. Near the 1600m crowded for room and taken inwards. Near the 1500m improved onto the heels of BULLET HERO and had to be steadied. Immoral Inclined to lay out under pressure in the home straight resulting in its rider being obliged to stop riding and correct on a number of occasions. When asked to comment on tactics adopted apprentice A Jones stated being first up today instructions were to race in a forward position adding that IMMORAL had led in a recent barrier trial. Apprentice Jones further stated that the horse did not appreciate today’s firmer track conditions. Ipswich 17/08/2022

Jamaican Rumba Shifted out abruptly approaching the 200m. Shifted in under pressure over the final 100m. When asked to comment on the performance Jockey R. Fradd advised that the colt may have got its tongue over the bit and had concerns with the colt’s action during the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow post-race recovery. Co-Trainer T. Edmonds advised that he would advise stewards the condition of the colt in following days and they would be adding a tongue tie prior to its next start. Sunshine Coast 03/04/2022

Roller Coaster Passing the 1700m was contacted and carried wider. Raced wide throughout the event. When questioned regarding the performance of the gelding, Jockey L Dittman stated that his mount failed to travel at any stage of the race and felt awkward in its action in the home straight. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with stable regarding the post race recovery of the horse in the days subsequent. Eagle Farm 04/05/2022

Optimo When qst re riding, rdr std no specific instructions given but hoped taking midfield position. Std on jumping mnt was badly hampered & as result settled at rear. Std despite efforts to hold more forward position mnt did not stretch out & remained at tail through early & mid stages. Std rounding h/turn he continued to apply pressure to mnt but it did not respond at that stage. Std after straightening he shifted mnt to outside between 400m & 300m, & after balancing up near 300m it closed off race well. A post-race vet exam rev no abs. Royal Randwick 20/08/2022

Passing the 900m was hampered and raced in restricted room for a number of strides after being contacted by THE RATTLESNAKE, which shifted in despite the efforts of its rider.
