As a result of this incident B Thompson the rider of DOMINANT KING was charged under AR131(a) as stewards alleged that his mount shifted in and tightened LADY SHANGHAI at that point. After considering rider B Thompsons defence to the charge stewards could not be satisfied that he could be found solely responsible and found him not guilty of the charge.
