Holy Harry  Held up rounding the home turn and again between the 250m and 100m. Jockey R Fradd reported that it was his intention to take up a handy position however bearing in mind the strong early tempo he was content to allow the gelding to travel comfortably without being pressured which resulted in it settling further back in the field than anticipated. Mr Epic  When questioned as to the performance App. McGillivray stated that despite being forced to race wide early, he was content to stride forward to take up a handy position, however, the gelding was under pressure leaving the 700m and proved disappointing. App. McGillivray was of the view that the gelding may have come to the end of its current preparation. Trainer T Edmonds confirmed that the gelding would be sent for a spell. Zimbali (FR)  Apprentice jockey L. Dittman advised the gelding responded to his riding when pressured from the 500m, however weakened in the home straight and was disappointing. A post race veterinary examination revealed lameness on the off foreleg. Hashtag Noidea  Jockey T Treichel reported that he was obliged to stop riding his mount over the concluding stages when it was inclined to lay in and away from BRIGADOON LEGEND. Red Letter Day  Passing the 500m was eased. Unable to improve when held up on heels from the entrance to the straight to the 300m. Questioned regarding performance, stated that her mount failed to travel strongly and rounding the home turn she elected to remain racing closer to the rail, as opposed to shifting wider on the track. Stated whilst her mount had a somewhat impeded run down the straight it was disappointing. Added that her mount has a poor second up record.
