He indicated that the horse was caught wide at its most recent start and had blinkers removed for that event. He added that the horse benefited from the change of gear to put blinkers back on the horse and that the stable had expected a forward showing today.

Marshall stated that the gelding travelled well to the 600m, however when shifted wider on the track at that point of the race failed to respond to his riding and, in his opinion, was disappointing.
