Fletcher was advised that the horse must trial satisfactorily prior to racing again.

When afforded the opportunity to comment on the performance, jockey V. Venkaya stated that after working hard in the early stages to obtain the leading position, the horse was then under significant pressure from the 800m and failed to finish the race off. A post race veterinary examination revealed a slower than normal recovery rate.
