Jockey T Wolfgram reported that after being placed in restricted room passing the 800m his mount failed to respond to his ridinthis took no competitive part in the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Trainer J Zielke was advised that warning would be placed on the gelding for performing poorly.
