When questioned regarding the performance of the filly apprentice stated that her mount failed to travel strongly at any stage of the event and was inclined to hang out. App stated she did not believe her mount handled the tight turning circuit today and may not have appreciated the soft track conditions. A post race veterinary examination of the filly did not reveal any abnormality.
