Rider advised her mount had been inclined to lay out throughout and proved difficult to ride out over the concluding stages. Trainer stated the stable was disappointed with the performance and had expected a more forward showing. Trainer further advised that the stable would look to experiment with the gelding’s gear and undertook to advise Stewards should anything become apparent regarding the gelding’s condition in the coming days.
