Same Old Commenced to race fiercely leaving the 900m and as a consequence had to be severely checked from the heels of KILLERMAN’S RUN approaching the 800m and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have punctured its near fore sole. Dansu When asked to explain the horse's disappointing performance, jockey J. Lloyd sated that the gelding raced greenly throughout and was inclined to change legs repeatedly in the home straight. He added that nevertheless the gelding still proved disappointing and will take benefit from today's racing experience. Trainer D. Duryea expressed her disappointment in the performance and indicated that she would now add blinkers to the horse's gear and the horse would possibly compete in a jump-out before its next race start A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slightly slow recovery rate. Vintage Beauty When questioned as to the performance, App. A Sewell stated that the mare became awkward of its own accord passing the 900m and then was inclined to over-race during the middle stages. App. Sewell added that leaving the 600m he was placed in restricted room to the inside of THE BURGLAR. Notwithstanding these factors, he was disappointed with the mare’s overall performance.
