Man in Motion Raced greenly and hung out in the early stages and passing the 700m bumped another runner heavily. Continued to hang out and shifted ground passing the 400m, forcing BETAJET extremely wide on the track. Trainer P. Divine Action On return to scale, Apprentice L. Dodds reported that his mount raced greenly throughout the event. Toowoomba 26/08/2017
She's a Mitzy Jockey L. Dittman reported at scale his mount laid in significantly from rounding the home turn onwards, placing him at a disadvantage over the concluding stages, causing him to be unable to fully test his mount. Stewards advised trainer C. Hickey that as the horse has previously had a warning for similar manners, it would be required to trial satisfactorily prior to its next start. Sunshine Coast 05/01/2018

Hi My Girl Unable to be fully tested app h/turn when held up on heels. When quest re tactics rdr stated he was advised mount does not early speed & from wide barrier not to pressure filly & risk being caught wide. Rdr stated his mount began fairly & it was apparent early that runners inside were going to compete for lead so he elected to ease back to obtain cover at the rear of the field. Rabbiosa Rider said that the filly was best suited to being ridden with cover behind midfield and that was the intention, however after beginning more quickly than expected she was trapped wide and in her opinion, would have been obliged to restrain for too long in the early stages to obtain the desired position and elected to attempt to find cover in a forward position, but was unable to achieve this. Hot Talk Apprentice J. Murphy was reprimanded for applying the whip to his mount when out of contention. Stewards questioned apprentice jockey J. Murphy regarding the mare’s performance. He stated that the horse had travelled well approaching the home turn, however when asked for a response in the straight failed to respond and proved very disappointing in the run to the finish line. A post race veterinary examination revealed a poor post race recovery. Stewards will interview trainer B. Currie in the coming days. Sunshine Coast 22/04/2018

Zinzi When questioned as to the seemingly improved performance, co-trainer B Rodgers stated that the filly did not appreciate the small circumference of Beaudesert at its last start when first up from a lengthy spell. Mr Rodgers noted that the filly won a 2 year old metropolitan race earlier in its career and added that it was not the stable’s intention for the filly to lead today, however, the rider was obliged to press forward in the early stages to obtain a position closer to the fence.
