Spirit of Cherokee Bumped on jumping and in turn bumped the hind quarters of another runner. Raced three wide without cover throughout. Ipswich 01/08/2018
Enterprise Grand Raced greenly throughout the event. Shifted out abruptly approaching the 200m causing interference to other runners. In this incident, jockey J. Lloyd was reprimanded for directing his mount out and also trainer M. Lakey was advised that given the horse’s involvement in this incident that a warning would be placed on the horse. Brassy Belle Trainer Mr. B. Currie advised that, with the blinkers off, it would be the intention for the mare to be ridden further back today. The horse was ridden accordingly. Toowoomba 11/08/2018
Suzy's Rose Tightened for room on jumping. Held up on straightening until the 200m. Doomben 15/08/2018
Boiling Momentarily held up near the 250m and, as a result, was forced to shift to the outside to secure clear running and, in doing so, bumped another runner. Toowoomba 11/08/2018

Tigerpower Began awkwardly and shifted out, making contact with SPIRIT OF CHEROKEE, which in turn bumped the hind quarters of MULGA THUMPER, which clipped the heels of SPIRIT OF CHEROKEE and became unbalanced. Raced greenly when slightly cramped for racing room after passing the 800m and after passing the 700m had a tendency to lay out. Ipswich 01/08/2018

Sarah's Jule Tightened for room at start. Rider reported at scale mount raced greenly in home straight and approaching 200m shifted out under pressure resulting in him having to stop and straighten. Gold Coast 04/08/2018

Courageous Rock Obliged to steady from the heels of a tiring runner approaching the 500m and shifted wider. Ipswich 10/08/2018

Balius When quest re perf. rdr stated mount travelled strongly in early & middle stages. Rdr stated when asked to improve app h/turn mount responded only fairly & failed to let down strongly in straight. Tnr advised geld worked well & he was confident. Tnr stated only excuse he could make was gelds best form is on rain affected going & it did not appreciate dryer conditions today. Tnr undertook to provide blood results & report anything amiss in coming days. Tnr added he would assess how geld pulled up before making a decison on immediate racing future. Just As Loyal Slow to begin. Jockey K. Yoshida could offer no explanation for the gelding’s seemingly disappointing performance, however he advised that the horse became somewhat agitated after saddling, which he attributed to the extended delay during the preliminary. Toowoomba 11/08/2018
Prince of Tie Overraced leaving the 700m and was obliged to shift wider to avoid heels. Ipswich 10/08/2018
Clairvue Diamond Raced wide in the early stages and until after passing the 1200m. A post race veterinary examination revealed a minor laceration to the near hind fetlock. Sunshine Coast 12/08/2018
Rebel Saga Commenced to over-race for a short distance approaching and passing the 900m. Gold Coast 11/08/2018

Crazy Pops A post race veterinary examination revealed the horse to have a poor post race recovery. Sunshine Coast 29/04/2018
Il Riccio Began awkwardly and bumped SO INVINCIBLE. Hung out passing 600m placing rider at disadvantage. Rider questioned re riding over final 100m - indicated gelding was laying out when being ridden along and in his opinion could not finish race off any better he failed to apply any pressure over final 500m. Stewards reminded rider to be mindful of riding mounts out to the line. Ipswich 18/04/2018

Mr Wind Slow to begin. Laid out from the 400m onwards. When asked to comment on the performance of the horse, jockey J. Orman stated his mount was slow to begin and therefore settled further back in the field than he would have liked. He confirmed the horse laid out under pressure in the home straight and he was disappointed with the overall performance. Sunshine Coast 08/08/2018
Lyrical Prince Trainer G. Doughty was questioned regarding a perceived improvement in the gelding’s performance today. Mr Doughty advised that the horse had trialled impressively leading into its first run this preparation at Sunshine Coast where, after beginning reasonably, the horse was then obliged to race three wide throughout. Mr Doughty added that he felt the horse would have a preference for the yielding surface at Ipswich and indicated that the horse has performed best previously when able to lead or be handy. Stewards, after reviewing the recent performance of the horse, noted Mr Doughty’s comments. Ipswich 10/08/2018
Red Hot Miss Tightened for room shortly after the start. Stewards questioned Apprentice G. Willoughby and Trainer Mr. T. Pascoe regarding the seemingly disappointing performance. Refer full report. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Toowoomba 11/08/2018

The Hussler Trainer K. Schweida advised that it would be the intention to have the horse ridden in the second half of the field. The horse was ridden accordingly. Laid in under pressure over the final 250m. Ipswich 10/08/2018
Morion Overraced in the early stages. Improved on to heels and had to be checked after passing the 700m. After being bumped by HI FIVER approaching the 200m, then shifted out across the heels of TAKES TIME, which was laying in. Connections were advised that a warning will be placed on the gelding’s racing manners. Sunshine Coast 12/08/2018
