Disappointment as filly trialed well leading into event. Vetted - no significant findings. Tr subsequently reported that scope and vet exam following race revealed grade 3 roarer and systolic murmur. Trial and scope results required prior to next start. Advised addition of tongue tie prior to next start.

He added that the gelding was doing its best work over the concluding stages.

Murphy pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding in that he allowed his mount to shift out under pressure near the 200m, resulting in ARAZONA being forced wider on the track and causing jockey D. Smith to check ARAZONA to avoid the heels of MISHANI PHOENIX at that stage of the race. Apprentice Murphy was suspended from riding in races for a period of 12 days, to commence at midnight, 10 November and to expire at midnight, 22 November.
