Excelebrazione Jumped away awkwardly, made heavy contact with the barrier partition and lost ground. Apprentice J. Murphy reported that his mount raced, in his opinion, like a horse that had come to the end of its preparation. Trainer W. Hulbert reported to stewards that the horse would now be sent for a spell. Canongate Shortly after entering the home straight when racing into contention its rider appeared to suffer an injury, which restricted him from pressuring his mount over the final 250m. Gold Coast 17/11/2018

Plitvice Held up shortly after entering the straight. Near the 200m accidentally struck over the head by the whip of R. Maloney (ONE MORE CAST) and then had to alter course back to the inside to obtain clear running passing the 150m. Ipswich 14/11/2018

Bobby Axelrod Trainer B. Robinson was questioned regarding the horse’s improved performance. Mr Robinson explained that the horse was better suited stepping up in distance to 1100m and it has shown some improvement in its work since its first start. He added that BOBBY AXELROD is still immature and as such he was not overly confident in today’s race. Stewards noted his explanation. Beaudesert 15/11/2018

Jet Train Severely checked and struck heels near the 400m, resulting in jockey M. McGillivray being dislodged Beaudesert 23/10/2018
Malcriado When questioned regarding the tactics adopted in the early stages, Jockey S Bogenhuber stated that she was specifically instructed to lead on the basis that the gelding has never performed well when ridden with cover. Ms Bogenhuber added that for this reason she was reluctant to allow THE DANGER to cross forward of her in the early stages. Ms Bogenhuber further added that after THE DANGER was steadied leaving the 1200m she then attempted to reduce the tempo, however, the gelding continued to race strongly despite her efforts. Rider questioned re decision to shift back to inside of DRAMATIC MOMENTS upon straightening - stated there was doubtful room between DRAMATIC MOMENTS and CAPA CAYLEE upon straightening and elected to shift back to inside of DRAMATIC MOMENTS to secure clear running.
