Held up rounding home turn and did not finish off the event. Tactics queried, in particular the reason passing the 1200m when RED GARTER did not maintain the position directly behind BIRKIN BLACK, which then permitted NIC NAT NUI to gain a position directly in front of the mare. Jockey S Thornton stated that her mount was travelling comfortably and at that point, the tempo of the event increased which then permitted NIC NAT NUI to obtain a position. Jockey S Thornton further added that the mare would have been out of its comfort zone if she had have ridden it along to maintain her position.
