Rdr stated when asked to sprint on straightening mount failed to respond in any capacity & was very disapp to line. Rdr stated mount did not have tongue over bit on return to scale but raced like a horse with incapacitated breathing. Tnr to provide results of endscope in coming days. P/R vet exam revealed slow recovery rate.

Stewart advised that it was his intention to ride the horse in a similar manner to that at recent starts and save it for a late short sprint, however, when SET THE BAR HIGH broke down passing the 700m and he elected to shift out to avoid interference, his mount was left racing without cover earlier than he would have liked. He added that the mare loomed up rounding the home turn, however, over the concluding stages proved disappointing.
