Huxtable indicated that his mount raced greenly and was obliged to pressure EXALTED in the middle stages in an attempt to improve, and that the horse would take improvement from the race experience. Trainer C. Munce was advise that a warning would be placed on the gelding’s competiveness.

Rider stated after beginning on terms, his mount failed to muster speed when being ridden along & was unable to establish a forward position. Bumped on several occasions shortly after the start by DEGAS which in turn was taken in by YAO DASH. Near the 1100 metres checked away from the heels of YAO DASH when that runner was taken in by DEEP SPEED which shifted in at an abrupt angle. A Mallyon, rider of DEEP SPEED, was found guilty of a charge of careless riding under AR131(a) and his license to ride in races was suspended for a period of 8 days to commence midnight 16th January up to and including midnight 24th January 2021. Raced keenly in the middle stages. Held up rounding the home-turn.
