In the presence of senior rider S Collett and trainer C Meagher, apprentice M Castle, rider of BUDDY’S TALE pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under AR131(a) in approaching the 1300m she permitted her mount to shift when not clear resulting in RATIONS being crowded for room and taken in which resulted in BUDDY’S TALE clipping the heels of RATIONS and having to be checked. The licence of M Castle to ride in races was suspended for a period of 8 days to commence midnight 30th January up to and including midnight 7th February 2022.
