When asked to comment on the below market expectation performance, Apprentice Cornish advised that after being bumped at the start the filly had a tendency to race greenly and failed to travel as strongly through the event as she had anticipated. Apprentice Cornish added that she advised connections that in her opinion the filly may benefit with the addition of blinkers. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

When questioned regarding the performance of the gelding, rider stated that her mount, which had sweated up prior to the race, had over-raced throughout the early and middle stages and near the 250m laid in and was reluctant to improve between rnrs which had shifted out slightly and then went to the line in a disappointing manner. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding did not reveal any abnormality. Trainer advised that in light of the performance, the gelding would now be transferred from his stable.
