Underwent a veterinary inspection on arrival at the barriers after becoming unruly in the parade ring and momentarily escaping from its handler. Passed fit to start. Commenced to hang out shortly after start, making the home turn extremely wide and was eased down by its rider in the straight. A post race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormality. Trainer L. Freedman's representative was advised that the colt will require a further barrier certificate prior to racing again.
