Showashadow Slow to begin. Checked when crowded for room shortly after the start. Had a tendency to lay in under pressure in the home straight. Ipswich 15/11/2017
Mister Spinks Raced wide without cover throughout the event. Toowoomba 16/12/2017
Conspicuous Jockey R. Stewart was asked to comment on the performance of the horse. He indicated he had been obliged to do more work than he would have liked in the early stages in order to cross to the lead, however the horse was still, in his opinion, disappointing in its finishing effort. A post race veterinary examination revealed the horse was showing signs of a low grade respiratory infection. Trainer B. Lockwood advised that the gelding would now be sent for a spell. Stash the Silver Began awkwardly and bumped another runner. On return to scale, L. Tilley reported that his mount raced greenly, with its head in the air, for the majority of the event. Toowoomba 04/11/2017
Odelia Inconvenienced shortly after start. Some difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the straight. Gold Coast 13/12/2017

Atomic Missile Race 3 wide without cover. Trainer T. Thomas reported the horse pulled up suffering from mild heat stress. Sunshine Coast 17/12/2017
Anxpense fractious in the gates inspected by the Vet and declared a late scratching Nanango 03/12/2017
Coalbank Caviar Rider reported at scale had a tendency to racde greenly at various stages of the event, and in the home straight laid in under pressure resulting in the gelding being unable to be fully tested over the final 100m. Esk 16/12/2017

Alcazar Improved into a narrow run passing 100m and was briefly tightened for room. Doomben 09/12/2017

Skylight Eased when tightened for room by PET DRAGON (Apprentice H. Phillips), which shifted in when insufficiently clear, when leaving the winning post on the first occasion. Dalby 12/12/2017
Island Sunset After racing outside the leader to the 700m, commenced to weaken and shifted in. Approaching the 500m, momentarily tightened when placed in restricted room. Esk 16/12/2017

Legs Unbarred Began awkwardly. Chinchilla 16/12/2017
Our Clarky Stewards questioned app. N.Lentini regarding the tactics, who was advised to take a forward position if possible. Began reasonably, settling mid-field however the gelding did not respond to her riding and as a result drifted back in the field rounding the 1200m turn. Trainer B.Hudson confirmed the instructions, expressing dissapointment in the early stages of the ride. After viewing replay, app Lentini agreed that she could have made greater effort to maintain a forward position and that she had erred in allowing another runner to cross her mount near the 1200m. Get On Bumped by another runner shortly after the start and became awkward and lost ground. Inconvenienced by another runner after passing the 400m. Sunshine Coast 15/12/2017

Maranetta Began awkwardly. On return to scale, jockey N. Tomizawa reported that his mount travelled well during the event however, when placed under pressure, failed to respond to his riding and proved disappointing. Warwick 14/10/2017
Man of Law Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. Raced wide without cover until finding a position one off the fence near the 600m. Dalby 12/12/2017
