Brilee Rose Tendency to lay in under pressure over the final 100m. Rider questioned re performance - explained after drawing a wide barrier had to be used up more than he would have liked in early stages to obtain the lead. Stated filly travelled well and responded when asked for an effort on straightening however, commenced to weaken over final 100m. In his opinion may be better suited to races shorter to that of today's event. Ipswich 30/05/2018
Shakira N. Tomizawa reported that the filly was disappointing and that he could offer no explanation for the performance. Trainer B. Currie was unable to offer any tangible explanation for the performance, however undertook to inform stewards should anything come to light in coming days which may have had an effect on the performance. Lucky's Lil Girl Severely checked and lost ground leaving the 800m when RISK ADVISOR shifted in abruptly away from ARCING HARD. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Gatton 03/05/2018

Airlie Reward When questioned regarding the performance, jockey B. Pengelly stated that the horse had felt well, however had raced keenly in the early stages, and he commenced to place his mount under pressure near the 600m, however on straightening the horse failed to respond and proved disappointing. Jockey Pengelly stated that the horse may not have appreciated the firmer track surface. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Rockhampton 29/05/2018

Land Office Began awkwardly. The gelding was accidentally struck on the head by the whip of Apprentice H. Phillips (STICK WITH ME) near the 100m. Stewards questioned Trainer Mr. D. Ward regarding the performance. Refer full report. Gatton 02/06/2018
Zip to the Moon Had difficulty obtaining clear running until near the 300m Rockhampton 22/05/2018
Zouzoukakia Obliged to race in restricted room from the 900m until approaching the 700m. Unable to improve and obliged to race in restricted room between the 500m and the 400m. Sunshine Coast 02/06/2018
El Venetian Near the 250m, after being disappointed for a run, was then held up and unable to improve until passing the 200m. When qst re the gelding settling towards the rear of the field, rdr std that he was instructed to have horse pos in behind the speed. Added that from wide barrier, when numerous rnrs to the inside showed intent on going fwd, elected to restrain mount, whereby settling at the rear of the field, further back than intended. Trnr confirmed instructions as was of the view there was good speed in the race. He said instructions were consistent of those given at Sapphire Coast (4/2/18). Canterbury Park 21/02/2018
