Began only fairly and shortly after was bumped. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Passing the 200m, when commencing to weaken, had to be steadied when briefly crowded. Co-tnr subsequently reported the gelding was found to have blood present in both nostrils on return to the stable. Co-tnr was reminded of the provisions of AR79(4).
