Tightened between runners on jumping and lost ground. Made the home turn wide and was inclined to lay out when placed under pressure by its rider. When asked to comment regarding the horse’s performance, jockey L. Tilley was of the view that the mare felt a little flat in the run and stated that in his opinion it may not have backed up well from its most recent engagement at Gatton. Jockey Tilley was also of the view that the mare may be looking for distances further than that of today’s event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer B.
