When qtd re his riding in the early stages, rider std his instructions were to find cover and allow the rnrs to his outside to stride fwd and take up the leading positions. Added further instructed his mnt has previously shown a tendency to resent racing in amongst other rnrs. Added after beginning well allowed rnrs to his outside to cross and lead the race however when the remainder of the field showed superior early speed, he ultimately settled much further back than intended and was obliged to ride mount forward to maintain contact with field. Added in hindsight should have ridden more fwd
