The Stockbroker Jockey J. Stanley reported that as it was its first start in blinkers, the horse commenced to race keenly in the early stages, and then when placed under pressure in the home straight failed to respond. Trainer T. Button agreed with jockey Stanley’s comments, however also added that, in his opinion, THE STOCKBROKER horse would benefit from its run today. Rockhampton 07/02/2019

Our Girl Tamiya Shifted out when struck with the whip leaving the 200m before being corrected, and again when struck with the whip near the 100m shifted out, again having to be corrected. Townsville 11/11/2018

Gap the Field Stewards acceded to a request from trainer G Bell to remove the winkers from the filly. Public announcements were made to this effect. Raced ungenerously approaching the 800 metres when resenting the dust kickback. Clermont 28/07/2018

Tang Dynasty Slow to begin and then was held up for clear running from the 300m to the 150m. Rockhampton 14/02/2019
Wicked Queen Upon entering the home straight, inconvenienced when bumped by OMINECA which shifted out. Approaching the 100m had to be eased when tightened for room. Gold Coast 19/01/2019

Rise to Fame Trainer M. Attard was questioned regarding the improved performance of the gelding. Mr Attard explained that RISE TO FAME was first up and was able to obtain an easy lead, adding he had been pleased with its trackwork leading up to today’s event and expected a forward showing. Persistent Shadow Slow to begin. Hung out rounding the home turn and laid in under pressure in the home straight Nanango 16/02/2019
Like 'em Sassy Hung out throughout the event. Rider L. Tilley reported the horse was short in its action. A post race veterinary examination found the horse to be lame in the off foreleg. Rockhampton 14/02/2019

Double Em Commenced awkwardly and lost ground. Raced wide from the 700m. Steadied near the 200m. Swan Hill 14/09/2018
Tridacna Laid in under pressure in the home straight, causing its rider to stop riding over the concluding stages. Rockhampton 14/02/2019

Time Out Jumped away awkwardly. Laid in in the home straight and near the 400m was obliged to alter course to secure clear running. Rockhampton 14/02/2019

Kalangadoo Chrome Slowly away. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer advised it is now the intention to step the gelding up over distances longer than that of today’s race which he believes will prove more suitable. Nonetheless Trainer was advised a warning would be placed on the gelding’s competitiveness. Mackay 15/01/2019
Free Drop Held up for clear running from the 500m until blundering near the 200m and was then obliged to alter course to secure clear running, and over the concluding stages jockey N. Thomas lost the use of his off-side iron, which resulted in him not fully testing his mount over the concluding stages. Rockhampton 14/02/2019
