Legal Asset Tightened on jumping away and lost ground. Trainer L. Rowe was asked to comment on the seemingly improved performance of the gelding. Trainer Rowe stated, in his opinion, the gelding had been racing fairly and noted the addition of blinkers for the first time had a significant bearing on today’s performance. Rusty Scooter Slow to begin. Unable to obtain clear running leaving the 200m, having to be restrained and went to the line without being fully tested. Townsville 30/04/2019
Toxophily When asked to comment on the performance, jockey J. Stanley indicated the horse, which was having its first start over this distance, raced keenly in the early stages and obtained a nice position outside the lead and travelled comfortably until approaching the 400m when the horse failed to respond to his riding, which he attributed to his mount not being comfortable in the rain affected conditions. Miss de Mirage Had to be steadied from the heels of ATTIQUE near the 900m when that runner shifted in when not fully clear. Jockey J. Stanley, the rider of ATTIQUE, was issued with a reprimand and advised to show greater care when his mounts shift ground. Held up momentarily approaching the 400m. Rockhampton 04/05/2019

Reach for Heaven When questioned regarding racing in a rearward position, jockey J. Lloyd stated that he was instructed to race midfield with cover however after jumping from a wide barrier he was caught wide and then elected to go back in an attempt to find cover. He further stated he commenced a run from the 600m, however the gelding had run on only fairly. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow post-race recovery. Doomben 29/09/2018
