When questioned regarding the disappointing performance, Jockey L Tilley stated that Master Jamie had to work harder then expected in the early stages after being headed by INQUIRY from the 800m and as such weakened noticeably over the concluding stages. Trainer G Green since reported MASTER JAMIE had pleased since his short break away from the Rocky Carnival, had trialled well on the 12th August and would engage an apprentice to alleviate some weight for its next start.
