When questioned regarding the disappointing performance, rider Z White stated that her mount travelled well in the early and middle stages but when placed under pressure from the vicinity of the 600m, failed to respond and ran to the line in a disappointing manner. Rider Z White further stated that she felt the mount choked down in the run. Laid out under pressure in the straight. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
