Lucky Captain Jumped awkwardly and made heavy contact with SOLARCRAFT. Gold Coast 21/10/2017
Red Phantom Jockey J. Byrne reported he was tightened for room at the start and lost ground, causing him to be positioned further back in the field than anticipated. He added at no stage of the race would he say the horse travelled comfortably and when asked for an effort, failed to respond to his riding and proved somewhat disappointing. The Real Ronaldo Slow to begin. Passing 100m was eased when awkwardly placed on heels. When quest re perf. rdr stated mount was caught wide early & near 1100m he allowed to stride forward & lead. Rdr stated mount enjoyed moderate sectionals in middle stages however failed to sprint app h/turn & weakened to line. Rdr stated outside last start, where geld settled forward on leader bias track, its form has been only fair. P/R vet exam no ab's. Murwillumbah 10/10/2017

Race 3
Mystyko Began awkwardly and had to be steadied from the heels of CASCATA ROSS. Gold Coast 05/08/2017
Bogey Man Correct weight was delayed whilst stewards viewed video footage of the start to ascertain if BOGEYMAN had been afforded a fair start. After viewing the patrol video stewards were satisfied that as the start was effected BOGEYMAN reared as a consequence and lost ground. Stewards were satisfied that other than for its own actions the horse had been afforded a fair start and therefore declared it a runner and correct weight was declared on the Judges placings. A post race veterinary examination of BOGEYMAN failed to reveal any significant abnormalities. A warning was placed on the horses b Sunshine Coast 22/10/2017

Blonde By Choice Jumped away awkwardly and lost ground. Sunshine Coast 24/09/2017
Dvina Reared as the start was effected, losing considerable ground. Connections were advised that a warning would be placed on the horse regarding its barrier manners. Beaudesert 02/10/2017

Pabulum Stewards asked apprentice A. Sewell to comment on the horse’s performance. He indicated that he had been instructed to ride the horse in the second half of the field as the filly was having its first start over 1600m. He indicated that the horse began well and if not for the instructions he would have liked to position more forward, however he elected to take hold and settle at the tail of the field. He indicated that the horse finished the race off strongly. He further added that had he drawn an inside alley, the horse would have taken up a more forward position. Sunshine Coast 02/06/2017

Whodunnit Jockey B. Stewart was dislodged when proceeding to the barriers. The horse was recaptured at the 1800m shute, examined by the veterinary surgeon and cleared to start. Sunshine Coast 22/10/2017
Airlie Man Bumped by another runner near the 900m and forced closer to the fence. Sunshine Coast 17/09/2017
