Rough Eddie App. A Fancourt reported that the gelding may have choked down during the race as it had made an abnormal respiratory sound. Trainer N Nolan undertook to have an endoscopic examination performed, the results of which he would advise stewards. Gold Coast 07/01/2017

Charway Approaching the 1000m was bumped by another runner and forced in across heels and had to be steadied. Raced wide without cover. Stewards asked jockey P. Hammersley to comment on the performance of the horse. He indicated he had been instructed to take up a forward position, which in the early stages he felt he was going to obtain a position one off behind the leaders, however when DON’T STUTTER improved to his inside near the 1000m he was obliged to remain 3 wide. Global Choice Kicked by another runner, underwent a veterinary examination behind the barriers and was cleared to race. Jumped awkwardly and lost ground. Overraced at heels after passing the 600m and shifted out, making heavy contact with another runner. Disappointed for a run in the home straight and was obliged to steady after passing the 300m and shift out to secure clear running. Sunshine Coast 19/08/2018
Godfather's Girl Approaching winning post eased from the heels of ARROW EXPRESS, which shifted out abruptly. Raced three wide without cover. Gold Coast 22/08/2018
Lucky Bee Slow into stride. Near the 800m had to be steadied when tightened for room between SUZI BEL and LILY AMORA (L Rolls) which shifted in abruptly. Jockey Rolls was issued with a reprimand. Hermitage Approaching 1000m steadied from the heels of AMERICAN CAT, which shifted in. Gold Coast 22/08/2018
Bulltruck Began awkwardly. Sunshine Coast 12/08/2018
Alpine Dancer Approaching the 1000m when the pace steadied commenced to overrace and passing the 1000m had to be checked from heels when overracing. Leaving the 800m shifted out to obtain a wide trailing position behind THE BIG EATER. Had to be checked near the 350m when tightened for room between THE BIG EATER and FLASH FIGHTER, which shifted out after improving onto the heels of the weakening WICKED HEIGHTS. Ipswich 29/08/2018

Jet'n'wild The start of this race was delayed after the horse case its near fore plate during its preliminary. The farrier replaced this and the horse was examined by the veterinary surgeon and passed fit to start. Slow to begin. Sunshine Coast 25/03/2018
Pipemajor Raced three wide throughout. Hung in significantly near the 900m, causing interference to other runners despite the efforts of its rider. Trainer G. Hay was advised that the horse must trial satisfactorily prior to racing again. Ipswich 24/08/2018

Romakash Race 3 wide throughout and was then carried 4 wide from the 700m. Ipswich 18/08/2018
General Assault Hampered and forced wider near the 1600m and after being caught 3 wide was allowed to press forward to obtain the lead near the 1200m. When questioned regarding the improved performance, Trainer K Loy explained that the gelding was having its second start for the stable and she was of the view that the gelding would appreciate today’s track conditions and the step-up in distance. Prince of Tie Hung out after the start and continued to shift wider on the course despite the efforts of its rider, causing interference to other runners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. After considering the racing characteristics of PRINCE OF TIE, stewards advised trainer K. Schweida that the gelding will need to requalify at a distance greater than 800m to the stewards’ satisfaction. Mr Schweida indicated that he would experiment with some gear in order to improve the racing manners of PRINCE OF TIE. Ipswich 24/08/2018
