During early stages when being restrained to obtain cover commenced to over-race, shifted in abruptly. When questioned as to disappointing performance, Jockey D Griffin explained the mare had a tendency to race keenly early. He added that after settling well and having a favourable run through the middle stages, was under extreme pressure from the 600m and proved very disappointing. His opinion would be better suited to races over a shorter distance. Post-race vet. ex. revealed a slower than normal recovery rate.

Rider stated that his instructions from trainer was that the gelding was up sharply in distance and for him to save as much ground as possible as the gelding only has a short sprint. B. Looker added rounding the home turn, as per his instructions elected to continue save ground until a clear running presented passing the 300m where he placed it under full pressure but over final 100m wilted on its run.
