Rationale	Raced wide early before improving forward to lead near 1400m. When questioned re disappointing performance, Jockey B Thornton stated that after working hard early to obtain lead, he was hopeful of gaining some slow sectionals through the middle however when joined in the lead by STORMY LEO was obliged to travel stronger than intended. As a result was unable to finish as expected and proved disappointing. Post-race vet ex. revealed a poor post-race recovery rate.	Gold Coast	24/11/2018

Dream Serenade	When questioned regarding the seemingly improved performance and also with regard to the noticeable firming in the market, co-trainer B Rodgers explained that the stable was not entirely disappointed with its first run back from a lengthy spell and added that the filly made a significant fitness improvement from that run and whilst not overly expecting the filly to win, he was however confident of an improved performance. Time to Sail	Stood flat-footed and missed the start by several lengths. Rider M. Hellyer reported that the horse performed below expectations and felt uncomfortable in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed that the mare had cardiac arrhythmia. Trainer J. Edwards was advised that the mare must trial satisfactorily and he must produce a veterinary clearance, including the results of an ECG, prior to the horse being permitted to race again.
