Meld Kilpatrick Near the 200m inconvenienced by KRUGER, which shifted out. Gold Coast 22/12/2018
Lots of Promise Jockey R. Mangan pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding, in that she allowed her mount to shift in near the 700m when not sufficiently clear of CHARWAY, forcing that mare in on to ALLEGRO VITA, which when tightened for room was forced in on to UNDERTHEMISTLETOE, which had to be checked and lose significant ground. In this incident, SINGLE LASS was also steadied when placed in restricted room and had to be checked to avoid the heels of UNDERTHEMISTLETOE. Jockey Mangan was suspended from riding in races for a period of 16 days, to commence at midnight, 9 September and to expire at midn Sunshine Coast 09/09/2018
 
Race 4
Never in Doubt Began awkwardly and lost considerable ground. Jockey B. Stewart explained that after being moderately away and travelling in a rearward position the gelding never really travelled throughout the event and when placed under pressure rounding the home turn failed to respond to his riding and proved disappointing. Jockey Stewart was of the opinion that the gelding may not have backed up from its run the previous week. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings, however the veterinary surgeon noted that the horse is a recognised roarer. Ipswich 21/12/2018

Ready for Love Improved onto heels near the 850m and had to be checked and lost ground as a result. Jockey J. Lloyd reported that the horse was disappointing when asked for an effort in the home straight. Sunshine Coast 14/12/2018
Angel Dane Slow to begin. Got its head up whilst being restrained from heels from the 600m to the 500m. Toowoomba 22/12/2018

I Dream of Green Jumped extremely awkwardly as the start was effected and made heavy contact with the barrier partition, almost dislodged jockey McGillivray and injuring his right knee. Jockey McGillivray was therefore unable to fully test his mount throughout the event and this had an effect on the horse’s overall performance. Following the event jockey McGillivray was assessed by the club’s doctor and stood down from his remaining engagements. Stewards advised jockey McGillivray he would be required to have x-rays performed and provide a doctor’s certificate prior to riding again. Sunshine Coast 23/12/2018

Bobby Be Good Bumped at the start. When asked to comment on the below market performance, rider M Gray stated connections were confident of a forward showing particularly as the gelding had performed well first up in the past. He added after travelling comfortably to the 600 metres, when placed under pressure BOBBY BE GOOD failed to respond to his riding and was disappointing. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormality. Esk 15/12/2018
Kurumba Trainer D. Forster advised that the horse would be ridden in a more forward position if circumstances permit. Caught wide in the early stages before being ridden forward and assuming a position on the fence behind the lead. Sunshine Coast 25/11/2018
