Shanahan Raced greenly and lost ground leaving the 600m. Laid in in the straight. Rider M. Murphy reported that in his opinion the colt failed to stretch out over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Trainer C. Munce was advised that a warning would be placed on the horse’s racing manners. Sunshine Coast 13/01/2019

Devine Factor Reared as the start effected and lost ground. Held up rounding the home turn. Vetted - no significant findings. Gold Coast 05/01/2019
Encieh Jockey M. Du Plessis stated that after being placed under pressure in the early part of the straight his mount commenced to give ground and he eased the filly down over the concluding stages. Eagle Farm 27/04/2019
Mishani Romance Lunged forward in the barriers just prior to the start being effected and made contact with the gate. The filly then put its head down and, as a result, lost considerable ground on jumping away. As Stewards were satisfied that the only reason for the filly losing ground at the start was its own manners, the horse was a confirmed starter. Toowoomba 18/05/2019

Zavy's Hope When questioned regarding the performance of the filly rider stated that after beginning awkwardly he elected to ease back to obtain a position with cover at the tail of the field. Added that his mount was inclined to overrace and lay out throughout the early and middle stages. Further stated that when placed under pressure down the straight his mount failed to respond and was disappointing in its run to the line, whilst still inclined to lay out. Bay Shot A post race veterinary examination of the gelding, which was beaten 26.25L, did not reveal any abnormality. Trainer was advised that the gelding is required barrier trial to the satisfaction of stewards prior to its next race start. Jockey was issued a reprimand for using her whip on a horse out of contention. Lismore 12/02/2019

Ultimate Ring Began awkwardly and shifted and shortly after was bumped on the hind quarters and became unbalanced. Ipswich 12/05/2019
Staying Black Began awkwardly. Forced wider on the track by WINDERMERE passing the 600m when that runner shifted out to improve. Ipswich 12/05/2019
Elmo's Fire Tightened for room on jumping away. Obliged to race in restricted room passing the 500m. Sunshine Coast 21/04/2019

Coastal Boy Rounding the home turn attempted to shift out to obtain clear running and in doing so initiated heavy contact with another runner, causing his mount to become unbalanced. Placed in restricted room near the 900m and had to be steadied. Sunshine Coast 11/01/2019
Courageous Rock Raced wide. A post race veterinary examination of the gelding, which slipped over in the tie-up stall following the event, failed to reveal any abnormality Sunshine Coast 16/12/2018
Didn't Mention It Laid in under pressure in the home straight. Stewards asked jockey M. Hellyer to comment on the performance of his mount. He indicated he was of the view that the horse did not appreciate racing in tight proximity to other runners and was reluctant to stretch out in the home straight for this reason. Hemsted A post - race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be 1/5 lame in the near foreleg. Trnr was advised veterinary clearance would be req prior to racing again. Hawkesbury 21/02/2019

Weboughtazou When asked to comment on the disappointing performance, jockey M. Cahill indicated that at no stage did he feel the horse travelled comfortably in the rain affected conditions, and this was the only tangible explanation he could offer for the performance. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with trainer D. VanDyke in the coming days in regards to the horse’s performance.
