Galloway indicated it had been his intention to ride the filly midfield if possible, however his mount was unable to muster any early speed and he was obliged to settle at the tail of the field. He indicated he was somewhat disappointed with the horse’s finishing effort. Trainer R. Smith advised that in light of today’s performance the horse would be sent for a short spell.
