Blonde 'N' Ready Near the 700m when placed under pressure put in several awkward strides, shortly after its rider elected to ease it out of the event. Rider B Thompson reported the gelding felt very awkward in its action. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding did not identify any abnormal findings. Trainer T Miller was advised that the gelding must trial to satisfaction of stewards prior to resuming. Sunshine Coast 11/09/2020

Noble Artist Trainer T Thomas reported that the gelding was resuming from a long spell due to a near fore tendon injury. Subsequently underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed suitable to start. Began awkwardly. Tightened for room shortly after the start. Sunshine Coast 11/09/2020

All Stars Near 800 metres raced ungenerously, shifted in and made contact with the running rail on a number of occasions. Ipswich 03/09/2020
Fly For Yulong Rider stated that he was instructed to ride his mount in a handy position if possible and after beginning well from the inside barrier was able to take up the lead. Co-Trainer confirmed the instructions today and stated that at its previous start when it was first up from a spell, the stable had advised Stewards of a change of tactics to be ridden further back from the wide barrier and it was an oversight on his behalf not to inform Stewards that the horse would revert to its usual tactics today. Lady Brahmos Bumped on several occasions near the 500m with another runner. Blundered near the 300m. Apprentice reported that after blundering his mount did not feel comfortable in its action. A post race veterinary examination revealed a small laceration to the inside right cheek. Doomben 05/09/2020

Clairvue Missy Approaching the 500m was awkwardly placed close to the heels. Held up for the entire home straight and went to the line without being tested. Rider was questioned in relation to his riding of the mare in the home straight and he stated that he was unable to improve rounding the home turn as MAIN DE FOI was racing to his outside and in advance of him. He further added that in the straight, after electing to maintain a position behind STAR BARISTA, he was unable to shift out to obtain clear running as his mount had improved to the inside of the heels of NORM’S C Sunshine Coast 06/09/2020

Flybridge Rider S.Cormack reported that the gelding over-raced throughout before commencing to weaken over the final 400m. He added that the gelding had made an abnormal respiratory noise. Underwent a post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the off hind leg. Eagle Farm 09/09/2020

Nine Cigars Performed below market expectation. Rider R Faehr reported that after beginning slow he rode his mount forward with the intention of settle in a position with cover however when FURY OF THE STORM improved to his outside the gelding commenced to race keen and in his opinion failed to handle the tempo of todays event. One More Cast Held up for a short distance rounding the home turn. When asked to comment, rider S Thornton stated that trainer S Kendrick had been disappointed with the manner in which the gelding had been finishing of late. Rider S Thornton advised that she elected to be neutral on jumping and settle in a midfield position in an attempt to ensure the gelding finished off. Trainer S Kendrick confirmed the instructions.
